Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Shutter Bus. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our mobile photo-booth services (“Services”). By booking, renting, or using our photobooth, you (“Client,” “User,” or “Customer”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Booking and Payment

The balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment and a signed agreement are received.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made 1 week or more before the event receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within the last week prior to planned date receive 75% refund.

If unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, illness, equipment failure) prevent us from providing services, we will issue a full refund of payments made or reschedule the service if possible.

We are not responsible for event cancellations outside our control.

4. Setup and Requirements

The Client must ensure:

Sufficient space and access for setup2.

Access to a standard electrical outlet within 40ft.

Safe and stable environment (indoor or shaded area if outdoors).

Parking and loading access for setup and teardown.

If these requirements are not met, service delays or cancellations may occur without refund.

5. Use of Equipment

Guests must use the photobooth and props responsibly.

The Client is liable for any damage or loss caused by misuse, neglect, or vandalism during the rental period.

Only authorized staff may move or adjust equipment.

The photobooth may not be used in hazardous, wet, or unstable environments unless pre-approved.

6. Photos, Videos, and Content

By using our photo-booth, guests grant Shutter Bus permission to capture and process photos, videos, and related media.

The Client and guests acknowledge that images may be shared digitally (via text, email, or social media) through our system.

We may use photos or videos for marketing, portfolio, or promotional purposes only with the Client’s consent.

Clients may request removal of specific content by contacting us directly.

7. Data Privacy

We respect your privacy. All personal data collected (e.g., names, emails, phone numbers) is handled according to our [Privacy Policy link or statement].
We do not sell or share guest information with third parties except when necessary to provide our Services.

8. Liability

Shutter Bus is not responsible for technical issues, power outages, or internet failures beyond our control.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the photobooth.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the event.

9. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

Provide accurate event details and timely communication.

Ensure guests behave appropriately while using the photobooth.

Obtain venue approval for setup and use of our equipment.

Reimburse costs for any damages caused by guests or venue conditions.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, venue closures, or government restrictions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Kansas. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Johnson County, Kansas.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using our mobile photo-booth, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
