Refund Policy

At Shutter Bus, we take pride in delivering a reliable and enjoyable, mobile photo-booth experience. This Refund Policy outlines our terms regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds.

1. Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking date.

Deposits are used to reserve your date and cover administrative and scheduling costs.

No booking is confirmed until the deposit and signed agreement are received.

2. Balance Payments

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.

Once full payment is made, it confirms your final booking details.

3. Cancellation by Client

If you choose to cancel your booking:

1 week or more before the event: You will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit.

6 days or day before the event: A 75% refund (excluding the deposit) will be issued.

14 days or less before the event: No refunds will be issued.

4. Cancellation by Shutter Bus

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, equipment failure, vehicle breakdown, or emergencies):

You will receive a full refund of all payments made, including your deposit, or

You may choose to reschedule to another available date at no additional cost.

We will make every reasonable effort to arrange a replacement attendant or solution before canceling.

5. Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule an event at least 14 days before the original date, subject to availability.

Deposits may be transferred to a new date once. Additional rescheduling may incur a fee.

6. Partial Refunds and Service Interruptions

If an event runs shorter than scheduled due to the client or venue, no partial refunds will be given.

If the photobooth is unable to operate for reasons within our control, a pro-rated refund will be provided for the unused time.

If the interruption is caused by venue power loss, internet issues, guest behavior, or other factors beyond our control, no refund will be issued.

7. No-Show Policy

If the client or venue is unavailable for setup or the event is canceled without notice, all payments made are non-refundable.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
